I photograph the way I remember things — softly, and with a lot of feeling.
Ashleigh Rose Photography is a small, considered studio based in Randburg, Johannesburg. The work is editorial in spirit and painterly in tone: warm ivories, deep charcoal shadows, the antique gold of late afternoon.
I photograph weddings and couples, matric dances, families, portrait sittings, and cultural, brand and corporate events across Gauteng. Every commission is treated as its own story — with time set aside for a proper conversation before the camera comes out.
When I'm not photographing, I'm usually curating albums, printing test frames, or wandering through a botanical garden with a roll of film.
